A Minneapolis park police squad was involved in a crash on Wednesday night, according to the Parks and Recreation Board.
Communications Director Dawn Sommers said at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday, a park police officer was driving to help Minneapolis police in a pursuit when a car pulled out in front of the squad.
Sommers said the officer was driving north on Hennepin Avenue at about 22nd Street with its lights on when the crash occurred. The squad hit the car that pulled out, which then careened into another vehicle.
No one was injured but all three vehicles were damaged. The crash is under investigation.
