A new study from WalletHub names Minnesota as the 4th best state in the country for millennials.
WalletHub says on its website that the "millennial experience is not the same everywhere."
For that reason, it studied economic factors affecting millennials in different states around the U.S.
WalletHub studied factors such as population percentages, housing costs, average earnings, homeownership rate, percentage of millennials who have health insurance, percentage of millennials with diagnosed depression and percentage of millennials who are living with their parents.
Minnesota and Wisconsin were neither in the top 5 nor bottom 5 states in any of the above categories.
Wisconsin ranks 5th in the country for millennials overall, according to the study.
In the category of affordability, the study says Minnesota ranks number 7 in the country for millennials.
We also rank 3rd in the "quality of life" ranking.
Wisconsin ranks 3rd in the ranking for millennials who engage in civic matters.
The top state in the country for millennials according to the study is Massachusetts.
The bottom state in WalletHub's ranking is West Virginia.
