It's the calm before storm at MSP.
A storm Susie Brock of St. Paul is missing by flying out Monday.
"Oh my gosh we could have been trapped," said Brock.
Airport leaders say they're ready to make sure nobody gets trapped when the snow starts falling.
"It's only been seven months since the last snowstorm in April so it's still fresh in our mind," said spokesperson John Welbes.
He says around 100 plows are prepped and ready and it will be all hands on deck. Crews are ready to work around the clock until the storm passes.
"We'll be ready to go whenever it starts," said Welbes.
He expects the airport to be fully operational and the same rules apply the next few days for those leaving.
"Although it's a busier time of year, we stay with the 2 hours before domestic flights. Three hours before international flights," said Welbes.
Delta has issued a travel advisory for passengers traveling through MSP.
"If there is snow you might want to jump online before you come out to check the status to see if your flight is on time," said Welbes.
He says if you plan on parking at the airport you can reserve a spot in advance.
