CANNES, France — Cannes Film Festival is getting a gander at Lily-Rose Depp near her mother Vanessa Paradis this week, and their genetically blessed resemblance is pretty amazing.
It doesn't hurt that Dad is Johnny Depp, who didn't make the trip to Cannes.
Lily-Rose appeared in Stephanie Di Giusto’s directorial debut and Cannes film The Dancer as Isadora Duncan. The 19th-century drama is based on the life of American performer Loïe Fuller.
Speaking on the red carpet, Depp, 16, said of the role: "I just let myself go and just danced. It’s the first time I have ever done that."
Meanwhile, French actress and singer Paradis is a judge on the Cannes jury.
The two didn't pose together, but Paradis has been supporting her daughter, even standing out of the way as Depp posed for her Cannes photo call. Lily-Rose rocked a hoodie outfit that would have made her part-time rock-star dad proud.
