Sometimes, you go out golfing ready to tee off.
Other times, you get attacked by a goose.
Isaac Couling of Concord High School fell into the latter category Saturday while playing in the Madison Tournament at Wolf Creek Golf Course in Adrian. His group was walking down the fairway on hole No. 7 when they strolled by a goose nest to the left.
Turns out, the guard goose wasn't having any of it. And Devon Pitts of Blissfield was in the right place at the right time to catch the moment Couling was attacked.
The photos, shared by the Blissfield Athletics' Twitter account, got the attention of The PGA of America, which shared in a post: "Though geese can be beautiful when watching them fly in flocks, the truth is they can be a real nuisance to golfers. And that's without them attacking golfers."
Blissfield Athletics said on Twitter that the golfer was OK, but "his pride was hurt."
