'Sister Wives' stars Janelle and Kody Brown's son, Garrison, dead at 25

Garrison Brown's family has been featured on 18 seasons of the TLC reality series "Sister Wives."

WASHINGTON — Robert Garrison Brown, the son of "Sister Wives" stars Janelle and Kody Brown, has died at the age of 25, his parents announced Tuesday.

"Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away," Janelle Brown shared in an Instagram post, alongside photos of her late son.

Kody Brown posted a nearly identical statement announcing the death of Garrison Brown, who was often called by his middle name.

Police in Flagstaff, Arizona, said in a statement to multiple media outlets that Garrison died of an apparent suicide and was found at his home. No foul play is suspected, authorities added.

The TLC reality show "Sister Wives" has aired for 18 seasons, following the lives of polygamist Kody Brown, his wife Robyn, his ex-wives Meri, Janelle and Christine, and their combined 18 children.

Janelle and Kody share six children together. The couple announced in December 2022 that they had separated. The show's most recent season aired in 2024.

In a statement, TLC said the death of Garrison Brown was a "tragic loss."

"We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time,” the network shared.
