BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Burnsville Police are actively investigating a fatal overnight shooting.
Officers were dispatched to 13100 Harriet Ave. S. around 1 a.m. after reports of shots fired.
At the scene police said they found a man laying dead of apparent gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Investigators say no suspects are in custody, but they are following up on several leads. They believe it is an isolated incident and say the public doesn't appear to be in danger.
