Bernie Sanders changes Mpls campaign rally venue

MINNEAPOLIS — Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders will make a rally stop in the Twin Cities on Nov. 3, with the Congresswoman who just endorsed him.

Sanders and Rep. Ilhan Omar will stage the event at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota (U of M) campus. They will be joined by local leaders and activists "to unite supporters of all backgrounds around the fight for economic, environmental and racial justice."

The rally will start at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, but an RSVP is encouraged.
