ST PAUL, Minn. — Current Democratic presidential frontrunner Bernie Sanders will come to Minnesota the night before Super Tuesday to rally with supporters in St. Paul.
The Sanders campaign announced that the Vermont senator and musical supporters Nathaniel Rateliff & the Nightsweats will stage a Get Out the Vote concert rally at St. Paul RiverCentre on Monday, March 2, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are not required, but RSVPs are encouraged via the Bernie Sanders website. Entrance is on a first come, first served basis.
Sanders comes to Minnesota on the heels of a caucus victory in Nevada and a series of solid debate performances. A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll indicates 27 percent of Democratic primary voters surveyed support Sanders, with Biden as his closest challenger at 15 percent.
Minnesota Senator Amy Kobuchar is sixth among Democratic primary voters at 7 percent.
