CONCORD, N.H. — Sen. Amy Klobuchar is firmly in the top 3 in the New Hampshire primary as of 7:45 p.m. CT, behind Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg.
NBC News projects she will finish the night in that top 3.
Klobuchar started the day with promising news: three small towns in New Hampshire gave her eight early votes after winning Harts Location and Millsfield, which has a combined population of 64 people according to the 2010 census.
Voters in Harts Location, Millsfield and Dixville Notch cast their votes shortly after midnight Tuesday morning. Michael Bloomberg, who isn't on the ballot, took the first two votes by winning the Dixville Notch Township as a write-in.
