Trump, Vance plan weekend stop in Minnesota

The former president and his VP pick will be at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on July 27 at 7 p.m.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Almost a week after President Joe Biden announced he would not seek reelection in the 2024 presidential race, former President Donald Trump and his VP nominee, Sen. JD Vance, will visit the North Star state. 

Announced Tuesday, Trump and Vance will speak at a rally at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud on Saturday, July 27. Doors open at 3 p.m. and the event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

On Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris visited Wisconsin and was joined by Gov. Tony Evers, Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, Attorney General Josh Kaul, Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski and Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler, as well as state labor leaders.
