ST PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Supreme Court is hosting a hearing on St. Paul's citywide trash collection system, which began last year.
While some are in favor of the new system, many residents and landlords oppose the changes enacted to make costs more consistent across the city.
The city originally refused to put the trash collection system on the ballot, but that could change after the hearing to determine whether the trash collection system will be subject to public vote.
The hearing is set to start at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. You can watch it live at the Minnesota Courts website.
