ORONO, Minn. - Fire crews battled a big house fire in Orono Friday evening.
The Long Lake Fire Department responded to a report of a house on fire in the 700 block of Lakeview Parkway in Orono.
Several emergency crews responded to the house fire. The Orono Police Department asked the public to stay clear of the area.
Fire departments from Loretto, Maple Plain and Wayzata had to haul in water because the house was part of a new development that had no fire hydrants.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The home is estimated to be 18 months old.
