EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – SouthWest Transit will begin providing service to the city of Carver.
Starting January 5, 2015, express service will be provided to and from downtown Minneapolis and the U of M in the peak morning and afternoon hours, with limited mid-day service.
The site is located at the intersection of Jonathan Carver Parkway and Ironwood Drive, just south of Highway 212. The new station will meet the growing demand for transit service from the city of Carver and areas west of the city. The new 400 space surface lot provides ample parking for the growing area as well as an enclosed, climate controlled waiting area.
Rides will be free to and from Carver Station during the first week of service.
