AITKIN COUNTY, Minn. — Authorities are investigating what happened after human remains were found in northern Minnesota.
According to the Aitkin County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a residence in Shamrock Township for a report of a camper and vehicle that had burned overnight.
Authorities said human remains were found inside the camper. The remains were sent to the Ramey County Medical Examiner's Office to be identified.
No other details were given, but officials said the State Fire Marshell was called to help and the investigation is now pending autopsy results.
