Super Bowl 52 events at Mall of America

Events are starting to kick off at Mall of America for Super Bowl 52.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Mall of America is starting to welcome visitors to the Bold North for Super Bowl 52.

On Saturday, kids were getting their faces painted while listening to live music in the Rotunda.

"I'm excited that it's here in Minnesota so I think it'll be a great experience," said Tiffany Brendle of St. Paul.

MOA will be hosting a ton of big brands including Pepsi, Under Armour, Microsoft and Old Spice. The Best Buy Tech Zone will be set up in the Rotunda from Jan. 30-Feb. 3.

It was the first day for the Bloomington Bold North, Cold Cash Sweepstakes. Located on Level 1, North, shoppers have a chance to win a grand prize $1,000 MOA Visa gift card.

Mall of America will also be a major media hub.

The Fan Gallery/Radio Row is located on level 3 near the north food court. Radio Row will include more than 150 different media outlets, broadcasting Monday-Friday. Visitors can watch broadcasters, professional athletes and guest celebrities here for free.

SiriusXM will also be broadcasting radio shows from MOA. They have four stages, located in the North Atrium, and will start broadcasting at the mall on Monday.

Also on Monday, Patriots will be launching their "Not Done Network" at MOA--a 24-hour video stream from Minnesota. The studio will be located on Level 3, North across from Chick-Fil-A and will serve as a destination for Patriots fans.

KARE 11 Sunrise and our 11 a.m. news will broadcast live from Mall of America all week. Our set is located on the third floor of the South Food Court area, overlooking Nickelodeon Universe. You can take photos with KARE 11 anchors every day from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Bobbie and Mike Elle of St. Paul have been mall walking at MOA for 10 years. They're here almost every day.

"It's fun because we see all the stuff... the media, all the tables going up and how everything's changing, all the signs they're putting up," Bobbie Elle said.

Display banners are hanging above radio row and feature previous designs of Super Bowl tickets, as well as the one for this year.
