MINNEAPOLIS - Target will renovate about half of its Twin Cities stores, in preparation for a company-wide remodeling spree.
On Monday, Target announced that it will be putting $250 million into reimagining 28 of the stores in the Twin Cities. Last year, it renovated the Nicollet Mall store as a test, and the company says feedback from shoppers is impacting the 2018 remodels.
The remodeled stores will feature elements from Target's next generation design.
Target plans to remodel all of its area stores over the next few years, and about 1,000 stores nationwide by the end of 2020.
