MINNEAPOLIS - The Twins have selected right-handed pitcher, J.R. Graham, from the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball's Rule 5 Draft. Graham spent the 2014 season with Atlanta's Double-A affiliate Mississippi and finished the season with a 1-5 record in 27 games.

Because Graham was taken in the Rule 5 Draft, he will need to stay on the Twins major league roster all season or be returned to Atlanta.

Other notable players the Twins have taken in the Rule 5 Draft in previous years are Johan Santana, Shane Mack, Scott Diamond and Ryan Pressley.
