GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Union Depot in St. Paul will celebrate Amtrak's National Train Day Saturday on May 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This free family event will include train-themed activities, a display of Amtrak equipment and train cars that can be toured and the restored SP1952 "Caliente" Track Inspection Car.
There will also be entertainment for all ages, including performances by The Choo Choo Bob Show, refreshments, and more.
The event, themed "Trains Matter," will also be a celebration of the arrival of Amtrak and the return of passenger rail service at Union Depot earlier this week, on May 7.
