DUBAI -The world's most expensive shoes were revealed on Thursday night with a shocking price tag of $17 million, Agence France-Presse reported.
The Passion Diamond Shoes are a collaboration from Jada Dubai, a UAE-based designer, and Passion Jewellers, a jewelry company in Dubai, according to AFP.

Only a prototype was shown to a select group of 50 potential buyers during the debut at Dubai's Burj Al Arab Hotel. Once the hefty price is paid, the actual shoes will be made to fit the purchaser's feet.
The Passion Diamond Shoes will be made out of gold, leather, silk and 236 diamonds, according to AFP.
The two largest diamonds featured near the toes of the heels are flawless D-diamonds, which are the purest and whitest colorless diamonds.
Previously, the world's most expensive shoes were made by U.K. designer Debbie Wingham and were worth about $15 million.
