Fans line up once again for Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament

The Big 10 drew thousands of people to Minneapolis.

MINNEAPOLIS — As the semi-finals of the Big Ten women's basketball tournament got underway, hundreds of fans from all over the country lined up in front of Target Center.

Many were from all around the Midwest and sporting #22.

"Caitlin Clark is just a really good shooter and all-around player," said Keeley Ryckman, who plays basketball in North Dakota.

Jenny Springer traveled from Wisconsin with her little girl to see Clark.

"She's just such a great example for the little kids boys and girls," she said. "She shows you how to be a hard worker."

But folks are not only cheering on Iowa.

Lee Clarkson and her daughter Ada were rooting for Michigan State and cheering on Julia Ayrault.

"I think that the notoriety and the attention that Caitlin Clark has brought to the game is one thing," said Clarkson. "But then people start watching other teams and they realize that you can't just have one player doing it all. Caitlin Clark is sort of an entry point for people and that's great. But I think people are starting to realize how wonderful it is to watch women's basketball. "
