APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - Senior Ryan McNamara's two goals lifted the No. 2 Eastview lacrosse team to a marquee win over No. 9 Minnetonka Saturday May 4.
McNamara, who leads the Lightning with seven points early this season, has sparked Eastview's hot 4-0 start. During his junior campaign, McNamara led the Lightning to a state championship, scoring a team-high 47 goals and dishing out 26 assists. For his efforts last season, he was named Pioneer Press' player of the year. McNamara, who also played hockey at Eastview, gave a verbal commitment to play at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He's just the second Division I lacrosse for boys at Eastview and plans to major in engineering.
