ST PAUL, Minn. — The PWHL's top team is sending five players to the first-ever 3-on-3 showcase at next month's NHL All-Star weekend.

Forwards Taylor Heise, Kelly Pannek and Kendall Coyne Schofield will join defenseman Lee Stecklein and goalie Nicole Hensley as PWHL Minnesota's representatives in Toronto on Thursday, Feb. 1. In total, 24 of the league's top players will be split into two teams of 12 (10 skaters, two goalies) to face off in a 3-on-3 showdown. Stecklein, Coyne Schofield and Pannek will play together on Team Billie Jean King, while Heise and Hensley will be members of Team Ilana Kloss.

Minnesota (3-0-1) is the only team remaining in the league to not lose a game in regulation. Much of it has to do with Hensley's league-leading .955 save percentage. Her 1.50 goals-against average (GAA) is second only to fellow PWHL Minnesota goalie Maddie Rooney, who has a 1.45 GAA.

Heise is tied for the second-most goals in the league (3) and third in total points (4). Missing from the All-Star roster is Excelsior native Grace Zumwinkle, who leads the league with four goals and is tied with Heise in total points.
