Lakeville North girls basketball advances to state for 5th straight year

The Panthers are heading back to the state tournament.

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. — Lakeville North's streak is still alive. 

The Panthers advance to state for a 5th straight year. In a tough section final they beat Rosemount on the road, 53-44. 

Sarah Kuma scored 19 points to lead the way for Lakeville North and Lauren Jensen added 12 points as well.

The seeds are still to be determined for the state bracket. The game will take place next Wednesday at Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
