MINNEAPOLIS — Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend is back from Friday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 6, featuring a variety of events for runners of all ages and skill levels.
The State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul will be the home for many of the events once again this year; the State Capitol also serves as the finish line for all of Sunday's events.
Here's the schedule of events:
Friday, Oct. 4
- 11 a.m. - Health & Fitness Expo at St. Paul RiverCentre
Saturday, Oct. 5
- 7:15 a.m. - TC 10K, presented by Dermatology Consultants
- 8 a.m. - Medtronic TC Family Events begin
- 8:45 a.m. - TC 5K, presented by Fredrikson
- 10 a.m. - KARE 11 Family Mile
- 10 a.m. - Health & Fitness Expo at St. Paul RiverCentre
- 10:30 a.m. - Half Mile
- 11:15 a.m. - Diaper Dash
- 11:30 a.m. - Toddler Trot
Sunday, Oct. 6
- 7 a.m. - Medtronic TC 10 Mile (starts in Minneapolis, ends at the State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul)
- 8 a.m. - Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon (starts in Minneapolis, ends at the State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul)
- 9:30 a.m. - TC Half Marathon for More (starts at Nokomis Beach, ends at the State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul)
Participants can pick up their race packets at the Health & Fitness Expo at St. Paul RiverCentre on Friday or Saturday. Race packets are not available for pickup on Sunday.
