MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Lynx are hoping to promote a message of tolerance an peace.
The team's captains called a press conference before Saturday's game to show off a special shooting jersey that they wore before the game.
The jerseys read "Change starts with us. Justice and accountability." The names Philando Castile and Alton Sterling were printed on the back.
"We have decided it is important to take a stand and raise our voices," said Rebekkah Brunson. "Racial profiling is a problem. Senseless violence is a problem. The divide is way too big between our communities and those who have vowed to protect and serve us."
