Twins postpone Saturday match against A's

Minnesota will make up the game against the Oakland A's on Sunday with a split doubleheader starting at 1:10 p.m.

MINNEAPOLIS — This weekend's inclement weather is putting a pause on the series between Minnesota and Oakland by postponing Saturday's scheduled game between the Twins and the A's.

A game scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. was postponed until Sunday, when the two MLB teams will play a doubleheader at Target Field.

Gates will open Sunday at 11 a.m. for the 1:10 game and 5:30 p.m. for the second game, starting at 6:40 p.m.

Both games will be broadcast on Bally Sports North and the Treasure Island Baseball Network, according to a press release from the Twins.

All fans with tickets to the originally scheduled Saturday game can use their tickets for admission to Target Field to the Sunday game at 6:40 p.m. without further action.
