MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins are ALREADY looking ahead to the 2024 season with a major league launching of ticket sales this week.

On Wednesday, tickets for the regular season, spring training and TwinsFest go on sale at 10 a.m.

The Twins are also trying something new at the start of the regular season by trying to pack the main bowl of Target Field with fans. Team officials say they're "bringing fans closer together for a louder, more engaged and better in-ballpark atmosphere during a 10-game window from April 8-25," according to Monday's news release.

Attendance can be spotty early in the season with weather being a major factor.

For that stretch, tickets will only be available in the ballpark's main bowl, "in Target Field's Main (Sections 101-140) and Outfield Mezzanine (Sections 229-240 and 321-334) Levels."

Fans with season tickets in the ballpark's Terrace Level (Sections 201-228 and 301-327) will get a complimentary lower-level seat upgrade within Sections 101-127 for those home games.

Officials also noted that if the main bowl is filled, Terrace Level seats will become available for purchase.

The Twins will have 81 regular season home games at Target Field, starting with the home opener on April 4 against the Cleveland Guardians.

Other regular season dates of note are a Memorial Day weekend (May 24-26) series against the defending World Series Champion Texas Rangers.

The Twins highlighted these "marquee summer weekend series" at Target Field: Houston Astros (July 5-7), Milwaukee Brewers (July 20-21), St. Louis Cardinals (August 23-25) and Toronto Blue Jays (August 30-September 1).

The Twins will also play these National League clubs in 2024: The Los Angeles Dodgers (April 8-10), Colorado Rockies (June 10-12), Philadelphia Phillies (July 22-24), Atlanta Braves (August 26-28), Cincinnati Reds (September 13-15) and Miami Marlins (September 24-26).

Fans who like to watch "Florida ball" can catch the Twins playing an exhibition game against the University of Minnesota on Feb. 23 to kick off  their spring training schedule (Feb. 23 - March 26).

Also swinging through the Lee Health Sports Complex in Fort Myers for the Twins' 34th spring training will be both the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves for three games apiece.

The Twins will face the Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays twice. Single games are planned for the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals.

Meanwhile, TwinFest 2024 (Jan. 26 - 27) will feature of 40 current and former Twins players and coaches, including Byron Buxton, Carlos Correa, Jhoan Duran, Royce Lewis, Pablo López.

Kicking festivities off will be TwinsFest Live! players and fans party that is scheduled for the evening of Friday, Jan. 26 at The Fillmore Minneapolis.
