MINNEAPOLIS — From Slow-Mo to Joe.
The Timberwolves added a sharpshooting veteran to their rotation after losing a versatile defender in NBA Free Agency, according to reports.
The Western Conference Finalists had brought 10-year-vet Joe Ingles into the fold, according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 36-year-old Ingles is coming from a young Magic team where he contributed 4.4 points per game off the bench.
In his career, the shooting guard/ forward has averaged 8.1 points per game while knocking down 44.8% of the field goals he attempted. Ingles has also averaged a solid 41% from the three-point line in his career.
The addition also reunited Ingles with former Jazz-turned-Wolves players Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert.
The Wolves could use his veteran presence after the team lost Kyle Anderson to the Golden State Warriors in free agency.
While Anderson seemed to be in a shooting slump for the Wolves, his versatility on defense proved extremely valuable for the team throughout the year.
