Timberwolves throwing another block party

The ticketed event will start at 4 p.m. on the corner of 1st and 6th Avenues, across from Target Center.

The Minnesota Timberwolves held a block party across from Target Center for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves are again throwing a block party for fans looking to watch Game 5 together as a pack.

The event will start at 4 p.m. on the corner of 1st and 6th Avenues (outside of Gluek's Bar & Restaurant.)

The party will go until the end of the game and require a ticket through the Timberwolves app. The ticket is free, however, there is a $1 processing fee.

Fans will get to watch the game on two projected big screens. 

Entertainment will include DJ Kasper, the Treasure Island Resort & Casino spin-to-win wheel for a shot at prizes and a merchandise truck that has officially licensed Timberwolves Western Conference Finals gear.

As far as food and drink go, there will be a Michelob ULTRA mobile bar, Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches, Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola cans, samples of Caribou Coffee's new "Timberwolves Crunch" drink, and the first 1,500 fans will have a free slice of pie from Edwards Desserts.

The Bally Sports North broadcast team of Michael Grady and Jim Petersen are also expected to make an appearance.

Timberwolves officials said a "ticket does not guarantee immediate entry based on space capacity. Fans are encouraged to arrive early."

No outside food and drink can be brought into the event.

Game 5 of the Western Conference Championships, between the Wolves and Dallas Mavericks, tips off at 7:30 p.m. at Target Center.
