MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been fined $35,000 after making an "obscene gesture" during Friday's win over the Sacramento Kings.
The league announced the fine Sunday after he appeared to give someone in the crowd the middle finger as he was being replaced in the first quarter of Friday's game. The Wolves went on to beat the Kings in overtime after Edwards scored a team-high 36 points to snap a three-game losing streak.
