GREEN BAY, Wis. - Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr has been tossing the football again as he prepares to return to Lambeau Field for a special ceremony on Thanksgiving honoring another Green Bay Packers legend, Brett Favre.
Starr and his wife Cherry visited recently with WTMJ-TV's Lance Allan in Alabama where Number 15 has been working out at the gym in Birmingham three times a week and exceeding his trainer's expectations.
Starr is moving a little slower these days after two strokes and a heart attack, but he's on track to make the trip to Wisconsin - a trip the Starrs say could be their last to Green Bay.
The Starrs have twice flown to Mexico to take a chance on two experimental stem cell treatments. They believe it has made a difference in Bart's recovery.
