EAGAN, Minn. — We'll see some familiar faces in the 2023 Pro Bowl Games.
Five players from the Minnesota Vikings have been selected to play in this year's revamped series of events. Instead of an NFC vs AFC game and skills competitions, this year's Pro Bowl Games will end with a flag football game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 5, 2023.
Here's who made the roster from Minnesota:
- Quarterback Kirk Cousins, fourth appearance
- Wide receiver Justin Jefferson, third appearance
- Outside linebacker Za'Darius Smith, third appearance
- Tight end T.J. Hockenson, second appearance
- Long snapper Andrew DePaola, first appearance
Players are selected for the Pro Bowl based on votes from fans, coaches and fellow players.
Nine Vikings were also selected as alternates:
- Running back Dalvin Cook
- Fullback C.J. Ham
- Outside linebacker Danielle Hunter
- Return specialist Kene Nwangwu
- Left tackle Christian Darrisaw
- Center Garrett Bradbury
- Safety Harrison Smith
- Special teams member Kris Boyd
- Linebacker Eric Kendricks
