LONDON, UK — All-Pro linebacker C.J. Mosley is inactive for New York Jets Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Mosley is dealing with a toe injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. While the Jets will be shorthanded, the Vikings will be getting back starting linebacker Ivan Pace, Jr., who missed the past two weeks with an ankle injury. Linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill filled in nicely for Pace, recording an interception in each of the past two weeks as the Vikings take a 4-0 record to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London.
The Vikings are nearing full strength as Pro Bowl tight end T.J. Hockenson returned to practice on Friday for the first time since tearing his ACL and MCL last December against the Detroit Lions. While he won't dress on Sunday in London, a 21-day window opened on Friday, meaning he could return after the bye week.
The Jets also activated third-string quarterback Adrian Martinez, who will serve as the team's emergency quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor.
Rodgers had a sore left knee after last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos but said he felt “pretty good” on Friday, according to the Associated Press.
