Minnesota is coming off its first loss — a 31-29 thriller against the Detroit Lions — but they're still one of just two teams in the NFC with one or fewer losses.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings are getting plenty of national attention — a 5-1 start will do that — but now fans across the nation will have a few chances to see what all the buzz is about.

The NFL announced Monday that it is moving the Vikings' Week 9 game with the Indianapolis Colts to Sunday Night Football on KARE 11. This will be the second straight week the Vikings will be under the national spotlight after their Thursday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Rams this week.

This will be the first time the Vikings will be on SNF this season after playing on Sunday night twice last season. The last time Minnesota played Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers cruised to a 33-10 win at U.S. Bank Stadium on New Year's Eve.

This season, Minnesota has been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL as one of just two teams to start the season 5-0. The Vikings are coming off their first loss of the year — a 31-29 thriller against the Detroit Lions — but they're still one of just two teams in the NFC with one or fewer losses.
