EAGAN, Minn. — It appears the Minnesota Vikings will have their top two receivers for their season opener Sunday in New York.

Second-year receiver Jordan Addison said he'll be ready to go Sunday against the Giants after injuring his ankle last month during a joint practice with Cleveland. Addison was a limited participant in practice on Thursday, but he told reporters at his locker that he's "feeling great" and will be "100%" on Sunday.

The former first-round pick returned to practice this week off being carted the field while attempting to make a catch during a practice on Aug. 14. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said he didn't believe the injury was serious, but he was held out the last two preseason games while he recovered.

Addison is coming off a strong rookie season where he hauled in 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns — tied with tight end Sam LaPorta for most receiving TDs of any rookie last season.

While it appears Addison will be a go on Sunday, it's unclear if Jalen Nailor will be ready by Sunday. Nailor is entering his third season with the Vikings, and was in line to take over the No. 3 receiver position after a solid offseason. He struggled with injury a year ago, appearing in just six games, but after a productive training camp, coaches have been optimistic about what he can bring this season.
