EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks returned to practice Thursday, a good sign that he could be ready to go for Sunday's NFC Wild Card playoff game against the New Orleans Saints.

For the first time since injuring his quadriceps on Dec. 23 against the Green Bay Packers, Kendricks was a limited participant in practice.

Kendricks, who has led the team in tackles each of the past four years, has a team-high 110 total tackles, including 70 solo tackles, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Minnesota will need to be as healthy as possible heading into Sunday's game against Saints quarterback Drew Brees and the NFL's third-best scoring offense.
