INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw will miss the remainder of Thursday's game with the Los Angeles Rams after suffering a knee injury late in the first half.

The fourth-year tackle out of Virginia Tech was injured while blocking on a run play deep in Vikings' territory with just 21 seconds remaining in the second quarter. He was helped off the field after Rams safety Jaylen McCollough rolled into Darrisaw while trying to make a tackle on a run play.

The team later ruled him out for the remainder of the game, replacing him with backup tackle David Quessenberry. Darrisaw is one of the top left tackles in the league and is tasked with blocking Darnold's blindside, so if he's unavailable for a long period, it could have major implications on the season.
