Vikings QB Kirk Cousins puts on a show at the NFL Honors... again

During last year's ceremony, Cousins sang "Since You've Been Gone" with Grammy Award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson.

LAS VEGAS — Kirk Cousins' rehab appears to be going well... at least well enough to put on a show Thursday at the NFL Honors ceremony.

The Minnesota Vikings' quarterback delivered a encore to last year's "Since You've Been Gone," by teaming up with New Orleans pass rusher Cam Jordan — the son of former Vikings tight end Steve Jordan — in a "Magic Mike" skit where the two superstars danced to Ginuwine's "Pony" while surrounded by shirtless dancers.

Last year, Cousins sang a duet with Kelly Clarkson with chains draped around his neck — an homage to his famous, or infamous, alter-ego Kirk-O-Chainz. The two sang a rendition of the Grammy Award-winner's hit song, "Since You've Been Gone," but changed the words to make it about future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, who announced his retirement a week prior.

There were no chains on Thursday, but the dance moves — as awkward as they may have been at times — provided a little glimpse into how Cousins' rehab is going since tearing his Achilles midseason.

The Pro Bowl quarterback said he plans to be ready for spring OTAs, however, if he's healthy, it remains unclear what team he'll be practicing with come May. Cousins' contract expires in March, and while both sides have expressed interest in a return, the price for a top-tier veteran could be a little too expensive for the Vikings.
