Newest 'certified good boy' added to Wild roster

In a social media post Thursday, the Minnesota Wild announced its newest team member, Dino, has joined the club as its next Team Dog.

ST PAUL, Minn. — It might be the paw-ff season, but that doesn't mean the State of Hockey isn't still making great roster moves.

In a social media post Thursday, the Minnesota Wild announced its newest team member, Dino, has joined the club as its next Team Dog.

"Paws up for Dino! Everyone please give a warm welcome to our newest furry friend! (ps he's a certified good boy)," the post read.

Dino joins an elite team of canines who came before him, including last year's good girl golden, Hatty.

The five preceding pups, and now Dino, spend their rookie season training as service dogs, and are eventually matched with a veteran, police officer or firefighter to provide support.
