ST PAUL, Minn. — Make it another hat trick for Kirill Kaprizov.

The Minnesota Wild's star forward was among the league's first 32 players named on Thursday to the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, making it his third straight selection. He's just the second player in franchise history to be named an all-star three times, and the first to do it in consecutive seasons. Goalie Devan Dubnyk is the only other three-time all-star for the Wild.

With 13 goals and 21 assists so far this season, Kaprizov is currently the Wild's lone representative, however, 12 more players have yet to be named.

Despite being selected, it's not certain Kaprizov will be available for All-Star Weekend as he recovers from a lower-body injury he suffered last week in a game against the Winnipeg Jets. The team recently placed him on injured reserve and classify him as "week-to-week."

All-Star Weekend, which begins Feb. 1 and runs through Feb. 3, will be held in Toronto and will also feature a skills competition and a PWHL 3-on-3 showcase. The league is also bringing back the All-Star Draft  for Saturday's game.
