ST PAUL, Minn. — After missing two games, Minnesota Wild forward Mats Zuccarello is going on the Injured Reserve.
The team announced the move Wednesday afternoon, saying it stems from an "upper-body injury."
Zuccarello scored the game-winning goal in a shootout Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks, but was held out of the lineup both Monday and Tuesday night because of the injury.
The 36-year-old leads the team with 28 points this season, including a team-high 22 assists.
The Wild are back in action Thursday night as hosts to the Montreal Canadiens.
