PARIS, France — The Olympics may have come to a close, but don't turn off your TV just yet.
The Paralympic Games run from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8 in Paris and will feature more than 4,000 exceptional athletes competing in various sports from para-swimming to blind football and wheelchair basketball.
And again, Minnesota will be well-represented on Team USA.
Eagan swimmer Mallory Weggemann has notably made a splash in both Games, as she became the first Paralympian to host Olympic coverage for NBCUniversal. She is a former Gopher and has competed at three previous Paralympic Games, medaling five times.
But there are so many more Minnesotan athletes heading to Paris — here is the full list, along with their sports and hometowns.
