ST PAUL, Minn. — It's never too early to start thinking about a summer internship, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is offering 200 students an excellent opportunity at a competitive wage.
The agency says it is looking for "passionate and dedicated students" to fill a variety of positions across the state in areas like fisheries, forestry, park operations, watercraft inspections and more. Those hired will work between 20 and 40 hours per week at $19 per hour. Applicants have to be completing an academic requirement or receiving school credit to be considered.
To check out internship opportunities or apply go to the DNR website. Applications will be accepted through Jan. 31, with positions starting in May and June.
