EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings receiver Adam Thielen was back on the field Wednesday, a promising sign since suffering a hamstring injury two weeks ago in a game against Detroit.
The Vikings star receiver sat out last week's Thursday night game against Washington, but could be in line to return Sunday when Minnesota travels to Kansas City.
Thielen, a Detroit Lakes, Minn. native, leads the team in receiving touchdowns (6) and has been one of Kirk Cousins' most reliable targets.
**Additional note: receiver Josh Doctson, who the Vikings acquired earlier this season, was designated for return from injured reserve and also returned to practice Wednesday. Doctson, a former first-round pick, has yet to play a game with the Vikings.
