MINNEAPOLIS — From football to fútbol — U.S. Bank Stadium will be one of 14 venues to host the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament next summer.
It's the first time the Minneapolis venue has hosted a match in the tournament's 18-year history, providing fans an opportunity to see some of the top teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The United States has won the tournament seven times, most recently in 2021.
“As the last official centralized tournament in our region before the FIFA World Cup 2026, this Gold Cup will provide all participating federations with a great challenge and will be critical to their preparations for World Cup qualification and for participation in the FIFA World Cup itself," said CONCACAF president and FIFA vice president Victor Montagliana in a press release. "The tournament will create a tremendous opportunity for fans across the confederation to engage with the sport at such a pivotal time for its development.”
Next year's tournament will include a field of 16 teams and will run from June 14 to July 6.
Specific match details as well as ticket information will be released after an official draw for the 2025 Gold Cup Group on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
