ST PAUL, Minn. — There's uncertainty and a bit of pressure on the NHL after the league's professional basketball counterparts in the NBA announced that its season is on hold to protect fans against the spread of the coronavirus.
On Thursday NHL brass advised teams not to hold morning skates, practices or team meetings amid concerns about COVID-19.
As of Thursday morning, Minnesota's game at home against Las Vegas is still scheduled but the NHL will meet in the afternoon to discuss their plans moving forward.
