MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Westbound Minnesota Highway 610 reopened around noon Monday following a crash that briefly closed the highway, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

MnDOT traffic cameras showed the crash on Highway 610 near the Jefferson Highway overpass just west of Highway 169, on the border between Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park.

The Minnesota State Patrol confirmed this was a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Troopers tell KARE 11 the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The exact circumstances that led to the crash are currently unknown, but traffic camera footage showed traffic backed up in both directions as emergency crews responded to the scene.
