ROCHESTER, Minn. — Much of Minnesota may be past peak, but according to the Minnesota DNR, there are still a few spots to get your fill of the fall colors.
The DNR released its very last Fall Color Finder of the year, showing that most of the state is past peak. However, the area west of Minneapolis is still at peak, along with the entire southeast corner of the state. St. Paul remains at 50 to 75% peak.
The DNR lists the parks that are still at peak:
- Great River Bluffs State Park
- Beaver Creek Valley State Park
- Whitewater State Park
- John A. Latsch State Park
- Carley State Park
- Greenleaf Lake State Recreation Area
- Frontenac State Park
- Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park
- Afton State Park
- Rice Lake State Park
- Nerstrand Big Woods State Park
In the final fall color report, you can find other areas that are at 50-75% peak, along with some more information about the parks listed.
