GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Imagine giving up the comforts of civilization to live in an arctic winter with no neighbors other than polar bears... you just might, if it were for a big cause.
Sven is following the story of two women who are spending a long arctic winter in a remote cabin, connecting via satellite with classrooms around the world on the impacts of climate change, ocean plastic, and more with monthly themes.
"Hearts and the Ice was designed- it is designed to be a global platform for dialogue around climate change and a way to engage citizens around the world in an inspirational positive way. to be in the environment like this. the light. the nature. The wild life its weird."
So there will more to this story soon to come, and through the winter we will try to check in with them via satellite.
Of course also, if you're a teacher we want to connect your class to their regular video chat sessions. Check out Hearts in the Ice here!
